It’s now official – people’s favourite venues around hospitality and retail industry will re-open their doors TODAY! Restaurants, pubs and hairdressers are given clear steps and full support to re-start their businesses. Finally, Long-time no see!
But how are they going to operate under the new restrictions? Will everything be the same ever again?
Despite that, when the two-metre social distancing regulation is relaxed and people are allowed to gather, there is the uncertainty of how things will work as the virus is still there and a vaccination against it is still not available.
Hygiene and masks will be necessary, eventually disposable menus will be available and word is that registration should be made prior visiting a venue just in case of a new outbreak.
We are all very sceptical about being able to go back to normal at once, but hopefully we will give it the benefit of the doubt and try to behave and keep it positive and grateful, instead of staying away from each other because of fear.
Lockdown affected us all in a different way and changed us for sure. Fortunately, it’s all coming to an end and from 4th of July we can visit places such as museums, zoos, we can go and watch a movie at a cinema, we can visit our favourite hairdressers and maybe another city through the weekend with a night or two spend in a hotel. It’s not everything, but it is enough for a start and we should be appreciative. We can visit our families and friends, who we haven’t met in months, and go have some food or sit in the garden of a pub and have a drink and a chat with them.
However, for some businesses it might be a bit harder to re-open. We all know it takes a lot of effort and resources, but hopefully we are all going to be given a chance to start from where we left at pre-lockdown.
We are very fortunate that this whole situation was handled so carefully. Afterall we have to consider the positive sides such as the fact that we all got the chance to spend more time with our beloved families and to rest from these 24/7 working schedules. We have to take it as the world stopped and gave us a break from ourselves so we can reflect on our lives overall and see what we can change to be happier and feel more fulfilled and satisfied.
Nobody ever gets a chance like this one, the world to stop so we can see what we did wrong and what we can change and do better in future.
So, we suggest: Reflect and Do Better this time! It’s never bad to strive for more, to want to achieve and pursue more. Motivation is what gets you started; habit is what gets you going. Motivation is the key to success.
